Cocktail Menu Design – The Sanctuary, Thailand
I was approached by a client to design the drinks menu for a restaurant bar in a retreat called “The Sanctuary” in Thailand. The client was unspecific about what they’d like, so I drafted 3 different styles of menu to present to them, then once they had chosen their favourite, I finalised the design. I created the final design using Adobe Illustrator.

Wedding Invites
I’ve been involved in two wedding invite designs – both totally different to the other. My first was for a couple who shared a love of the “owl & the pussycat” rhyme and wanted to somehow incorporate this into their theme. After meeting with them initially, i put pen to paper and designed their wedding invite. They were so happy with the final that they asked for the illustrated owl & pussycat as a print for them to remember their big day.
The second wedding invite I designed included a custom Mandela as requested from the Bride, combining a sun & moon that she would later have tattooed! The wedding was held in a forest and was held in 2 parts – a traditional wedding during the day and party during night where more guests were invited, therefore, i created two separate designs – one for day time guests, and another to the party guests. The clients were chuffed with the final outcome.

Marketing Material – Easton Bevins
I was approached by Easton Bevins Property Management, Bristol to design marketing material for perspective clients. This included a media pack to hold a booklet, flyer, application form and business card. The company had recently had their business card designed and wanted to keep with the theme, logo and colours on the card. I met with the client to go over their proposal, and I put a presentation together on how i visualised the materials & that I was looking to bring a photographer on board also to provide beautiful imagery for their pack – Jamie Smart Photography. I used many of Jamies photographs throughout the booklet, but also used them as reference to produce illustrated imagery of Bristol and the southwest for a personalised feel.
The project took around 3 months to complete from brief to print and I really enjoyed using Adobe InDesign to put the booklet together.
